Chicken Satay Bites

I once went for a two-hour cooking lesson in a remote village in Bali. It was great fun, and as I was the only student I had one-to-one teaching and managed to follow all the recipes. This was my favourite. |

| Ingredients: | |||

1 tsp vegetable oil |

| Method: | |||
|
Have ready 8 10- skewers. Heat the oil in a frying pan, and sauté the garlic. Take a bowl and put into it the chicken, nuts, fried garlic, pepper, chilli, lemon juice, soy sauce and salt. Cover and place in the refrigerator for a couple of hours or overnight. When you are ready to eat, skewer the meat and grill or barbecue it for 10 minutes. |
